Caribbean Coffee
The Caribbean doesn’t produce coffee at scale — and that’s part of what makes it interesting. Small island microclimates, limited growing areas, and a handful of origins with genuine pedigree. Jamaica Blue Mountain is the most famous: grown in a narrow altitude band in the Blue Mountains east of Kingston, it produces a cup that’s exceptionally smooth, low-acid, and balanced in a way that few other origins replicate.
Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Puerto Rico fill out the region with their own distinct characters — less known, worth exploring.
