Coffee Tamper Collection
A level tamp is one of the simplest things you can control in espresso — and one of the most overlooked. This collection brings together flat, convex, and calibrated tampers sized for 49mm to 58mm portafilters, so you stop guessing and start pulling consistent shots.
Because uneven extraction is a choice, and now you don’t have to make it.
- Flat & convex tamper styles
- Fits 49mm–58mm portafilters

Frequently asked questions
What size tamper do I need?
Match the tamper to your basket, not the machine brand alone: 51mm for most De'Longhi machines, 54mm for most Breville machines, and 58mm for E61, Rancilio, Gaggia and La Marzocco. Our Portafilter Size Guide shows how to check.
What does a calibrated tamper do?
A calibrated or constant-force tamper uses a spring that clicks at a set pressure, usually around 30 lb, so every tamp is the same. It takes one variable out of dialing in.
Flat or convex?
Flat is the most common choice and works well with most baskets. A convex base presses slightly harder in the center. Either works when your distribution is even and your tamp is level.
