LilyDrip LOTOS-C — Chemex Basket Filter Holder
The LOTOS-C is a basket filter holder designed to sit on top of a Chemex brewer. It converts your Chemex from a cone filter setup — where water follows the path of least resistance down the cone — to a basket filter geometry where water distributes more evenly across the full coffee bed. The result is more even extraction, which typically means less channeling, less over-extraction in the center, and a fuller, more complex cup than the standard Chemex cone filter produces.
It also makes the Chemex compatible with standard basket filters (vs. the proprietary Chemex bonded filters), which gives you more filter options and lower ongoing cost.
