✅ 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee — Arrived damaged, wrong, or defective? We'll replace it or refund you, no hassle.
The gray V60 02 dripper in this set is made from Arita-yaki — a Japanese ceramic tradition with 400 years of history, originating in Arita, Saga Prefecture. The ceramic is handcrafted, dense, and retains heat well. The same conical shape and single large outlet as every V60, but in a material that has a lot more provenance behind it than standard white ceramic.
Paired with Hario’s 600ml borosilicate beaker server — a cleaner, more angular silhouette than the beehive range server — and 40 size-02 filters to get you started. A plastic coffee scoop is included; useful for developing muscle memory, though a scale will serve you better once you’re dialing in a recipe.

Pro Tip
Arita-yaki ceramic absorbs heat — pre-warm the dripper with hot water before brewing to stabilize temperature and get consistent extraction from your first pour. Target 200–205°F, use a gooseneck kettle, medium-fine grind as your baseline, and start with a 30-second bloom. A 1:15 ratio (e.g., 20g coffee to 300g water) is a solid starting point.
About Hario
Hario was founded in Tokyo in 1921, originally producing heatproof glass for medical and laboratory use. The name means “King of Glass” in Japanese.
