This is Luisa Ossa’s Gesha from Finca El Bosque (La Forêt) in Marsella, Risaralda — a region whose biodiversity and altitude consistently produce coffees with that kind of quiet, layered elegance that doesn’t announce itself loudly but doesn’t let you put the cup down either.
Washed process. Clean profile. The Gesha varietal does what it does — floral, aromatic, light on its feet — and Luisa’s meticulous approach at every step of the lot doesn’t get in the way of that. Limoncillo and sugarcane sweetness open the cup, florals carry through the body, and it finishes with the quiet warmth of green tea and sweet aromatics. Medium body, low citric acidity.
