Breville 54mm Espresso Accessories
Looking for accessories for your Breville? I’ve gathered the 54mm options here so you can spend less time sorting through sizes and more time making coffee. Shop bottomless portafilters, tampers, dosing funnels, WDT tools, baskets, and puck screens for your home espresso setup.
Which Breville machines is this collection for?
Start here if you have a Breville Barista Express, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino, Bambino Plus, Infuser, or Duo Temp Pro with a 54mm portafilter. These machine names are a starting point, not a promise that every accessory fits every model. Check the individual product’s compatibility notes before you order.
New to espresso accessories? Here’s what they do.
- Dosing funnels and cups: Help keep loose grounds contained while you fill the basket or transfer coffee from your grinder.
- WDT tools: Use fine needles to break up clumps and spread grounds through the basket before tamping.
- Distributors and tampers: A distributor levels the coffee bed. A tamper compresses it. They do different jobs.
- Bottomless portafilters: Let you see coffee leaving the basket, making uneven flow easier to spot. They don’t fix a shot on their own.
- Filter baskets and puck screens: Baskets hold your coffee dose. A puck screen sits on top of the tamped grounds to help spread water and keep grounds off the machine’s shower screen.
What size should I choose for my Breville?
Choose the 54mm option on products with multiple sizes. For the bottomless portafilters in this collection, look for 54mm Fits Breville / Sage – 3 Ears. The “ears” are the tabs that lock the portafilter into the machine. Diameter alone isn’t enough: the locking tabs, basket depth, and attachment style need to match too.
Does the twist-lock dosing funnel fit every 54mm Breville?
No. The Breville 54mm Dosing Funnel Ring lists BES840, BES870, BES875, BES876, BES878, and BES880. Check your machine’s model number rather than assuming 54mm means it will fit.
What should I buy first?
You don’t need every tool on the page. If grounds keep landing on the counter, start with a compatible dosing funnel. If you’re working on clumps and uneven shots, consider a WDT tool. Pick the tool that solves the problem you actually have. Not sure about fit? Ask me before you order.
