Choose Your Dose Size

• 16g — suited to smaller baskets, lighter doses, and single-shot recipes. Common on compact home machines with smaller portafilter baskets.
• 18g — the most common double-shot dose for home espresso. A good default if you’re unsure — works with most grinders and recipes dialled for standard 1:2 ratios.
• 20g — a step up for higher-dose double-shot recipes. Popular with specialty coffee and competition-style extraction where more grounds are used for longer, more complex yields.
• 22g — high-capacity dose for large double shots, lungo recipes, or lever machines where a fuller puck improves resistance and extraction evenness.
