Barista Basics Stainless Steel Portafilter Rest & Tamp Stand
A compact stainless portafilter rest that keeps the portafilter elevated and accessible between pulls — spouts or bottomless basket up off the counter, reducing the risk of picking up stray grounds between shots. At 1-15/16" tall it sits low on the dosing station without getting in the way; the rubber base grips the counter without sliding.
This is a passive portafilter holder and tamp support, not to be confused with the tamping station, which has a higher cradle and is designed specifically to guide a level tamp angle. This one keeps the portafilter parked cleanly between uses and provides a stable surface for tamping without the guided registration. Fits 53mm and 58mm portafilters.
