Hario V60 02 Ceramic Pour-Over Coffee Dripper – Saddle
✅ 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee — Arrived damaged, wrong, or defective? We'll replace it or refund you, no hassle.
Want a straightforward pour-over brewer you can learn with and keep using? The Hario V60 02 ceramic coffee dripper in Saddle gives you a hands-on way to brew, with a porcelain body handmade in Japan and a compact shape for your coffee setup.
The V60’s spiral ribs and large bottom opening let your grind and pouring technique influence how the water moves through the coffee. It’s not an automatic shortcut to a perfect cup. It’s a useful tool for learning a recipe, making small adjustments, and figuring out what tastes good to you.
Who is this dripper for?
Choose it if you want to start making pour-over or add a ceramic V60 to your existing routine. You control the water amounts and pouring stages yourself. Saddle is the finish of this version; the brewing method is the same familiar V60 approach.
What does size 02 mean?
02 identifies the Hario V60 dripper and matching filter size. This model is listed for 1–4 cups, but servings depend on your recipe and cup size. Four small servings are not the same as four large mugs. Match your brew amount to the capacity of your cup or server.
Which filters do I need?
Use Hario V60 size 02 cone-shaped paper filters. Filters are sold separately. Our Hario V60 Size 02 White Paper Filters, 100 Count are the matching size, so you can have them ready for your first brew.
Why preheat a ceramic dripper?
Porcelain holds heat once warmed. Rinsing the paper filter with hot water also warms the dripper before brewing. Discard that rinse water before adding your coffee. It’s a simple way to make your starting conditions more consistent.
What’s included?
- One Hario V60 02 porcelain dripper in Saddle
- One polypropylene measuring spoon
You’ll also need size 02 paper filters, ground coffee, hot water, and a suitable mug or server. A gooseneck kettle helps direct the stream. A scale makes it easier to repeat your coffee and water amounts than relying on the scoop alone.
How do I make coffee with it?
Set the dripper securely on your mug or server and fit a size 02 filter. Rinse the filter and preheat the porcelain, then discard the rinse water. Add your measured ground coffee. Make a small first pour to wet the grounds, pause according to your recipe, then continue pouring slowly and evenly until you reach your target water amount. Let the coffee finish draining before removing the dripper.
Some recipes take around three minutes, but the right timing depends on your dose, grind, and pouring pattern. Taste the coffee rather than treating one brew time as a rule for every recipe.
