The Sakura is LilyDrip’s fast-flow ceramic insert, based on the Starflower model with a revised 5-cut design and medium bottom exit. It sits in the base of a V60-style or compatible cone dripper and accelerates drawdown rate, shortening the contact time between water and coffee bed.

Fast flow means shorter dwell time and lighter extraction — which preserves brightness, acidity, and fruit character without pushing into over-extraction. The Sakura is best suited for fruity, berry-forward, acidic, and wine-like coffees where a fast, clean extraction highlights the natural acidity and keeps bitter components in check. Not the right fit for dark roasts or buyers who prefer heavier body — for those, the 66 or COS are the right pick.
