If you want an espresso that’s smooth and balanced without being locked into one brewing method, start here. Heritage Espresso from Brickhouse Coffee Co. is an organic medium roast, available as whole bean or ground coffee in 12 oz and 5 lb bags.
“Espresso” doesn’t mean you need an espresso machine. It describes the coffee’s intended use, but you can brew it with the setup you already own. Choose it if you want a rounded everyday coffee that can move between espresso and your regular morning cup.
What is Heritage Espresso?
- Roast: Medium
- Profile: Smooth and balanced
- Coffee: Organic
- Formats: Whole bean or ground
- Sizes: 12 oz or 5 lb
- Roaster: Brickhouse Coffee Co.
Which option should I choose?
I’d start with the 12 oz bag if you’re trying it for the first time. The 5 lb bag makes more sense once you know it belongs in your routine or you’re brewing for several people.
Choose whole bean if you have a grinder. That lets you adjust the grind for your brewer, especially important for espresso. Choose ground if you want to skip grinding at home, but make sure the grind suits your brewing method before ordering.
Do I need an espresso machine?
No. You can use Heritage Espresso for espresso, drip, pour-over, or French press. Match your grind and recipe to the brewer rather than assuming “espresso” on the bag means one fixed way to prepare it.
For an espresso machine, choose whole bean and dial in your grind for your setup. For other methods, start with your brewer’s recommended recipe, taste, and change one thing at a time.
Good to know
Market conditions may result in product substitution.
My recommendation: start with 12 oz whole bean if you grind at home. Get to know it with a familiar recipe before committing to the larger bag.
