The classic Chemex for a larger batch
If you want the wood-collar Chemex and plenty of coffee to share, this 10-Cup Classic Series Coffeemaker has a 50-ounce capacity. Its hourglass-shaped borosilicate glass body, polished wood collar, and leather tie give you the familiar look. Add a Chemex Bonded Filter and ground coffee, then pour hot water slowly to make your batch.
The details that matter
- Capacity: 50 ounces. Chemex measures one cup as 5 ounces, so “10-cup” doesn't mean ten large mugs.
- Material: nonporous borosilicate glass with a polished wood collar and leather tie
- Dimensions: 9¼ inches tall × 5⅛ inches in diameter
- Compatible filters: Chemex Bonded Filter styles FP-1, FC-100, FS-100, and FSU-100
This is the Classic wood-collar version, not the glass-handle model. Choose the filter style you prefer and you're ready for a bigger pour-over session.
