It is not the right size for a 51mm or 54mm basket.

How to use it

1. Dose your coffee into the basket and distribute the grounds evenly before tamping.
2. Support the portafilter on a stable tamping surface, then place the tamper squarely over the basket.
3. Press straight down in a controlled motion, using the spring mechanism and audible click as feedback.
4. Lift the tamper straight out, check the basket rim for loose grounds and brew.
