“Be Not Afraid” — Saint John Paul II
Love & Roastsponsibility is a medium roast Colombian coffee crafted in honor of Saint John Paul II — adventurer, philosopher, poet, playwright, and one of the most consequential saints of the modern age. He hiked. He kayaked. He performed in underground theater during the Nazi occupation of Poland. He said Mass in secret under communist rule. He wrote a major work of philosophy on human love while also being a pope. This coffee is named for all of that.
The coffee: dried orange and berry brightness, rich chocolate depth, nutty-sweet caramel finish, smooth energizing medium roast. Ethically sourced from smallholder farmers in Medellín, made-to-order in Temecula, California.
Available in whole bean or ground, 12oz or 5lb.

Love & Roastsponsibility is the most technically specified coffee in the saint-named lineup — EP Grade certified, fully washed, solar-dried, volcanic loam Medellín smallholder sourcing. If you’re buying it as a gift for a JPII fan, the pun will land. If you’re buying it for the coffee, the Castillo-Caturra Colombian profile at 1,300–1,500m with this flavor spec is genuinely worth it.
