Making pour-over for more than one cup? The Kalita Wave 185 glass dripper is the larger Wave size. Its flat-bottom design and three drainage holes work with a pleated Wave 185 paper filter, while the clear glass lets you see the coffee as it brews.
What to know before you brew
- Filter fit: Requires Kalita Wave 185 paper filters, sold separately. Wave 155 filters are for the smaller dripper, and Kalita cone filters are a different shape.
- Use: Set the black collar securely over a compatible mug or server, add a 185 filter and ground coffee, then pour hot water in stages.
- Brew size: Intended for roughly two to four cups, depending on your recipe and the size of your cups.
- Build: Heat-resistant glass dripper with a black polypropylene collar; approximately 3.5 inches tall; made in China.
If you like the smaller Wave 155 but need room for a bigger batch, the 185 is the size to choose. Check the fit on your server before you start pouring.
