Want to make hot pour-over and iced coffee with the same setup? The Hario V60 Hot & Iced Coffee Maker pairs a clear plastic V60 02 dripper with a 700 ml glass server and a long ice chamber. Brew hot coffee into the server, or use ice in the chamber to cool the coffee as it drains.

This is a manual pour-over set, not an electric machine. It includes the dripper, server, ice chamber, 40 paper filters, and a scoop, so you can start with the core pieces together instead of matching them separately.

How does it make iced coffee?

Add ice to the ice chamber and brew hot coffee through the V60 above it, following the manufacturer’s assembly instructions and an iced pour-over recipe. The freshly brewed coffee meets the ice and cools as it drains into the server. This is often called flash-chilled iced coffee.

Account for both brewing water and melting ice in your recipe. Simply adding ice to a full hot-coffee recipe can leave the result more diluted than you intended.

Is this a cold brew maker?

The included ice chamber is designed for flash-chilling hot-brewed coffee, not steeping grounds in cold water. Cold brew uses a different process. Choose this set if you want a pour-over routine that works for both hot coffee and iced coffee.

Can I make hot coffee with it?

Yes. Use the V60 dripper and glass server for hot pour-over without the ice-chilling step, following the manufacturer’s setup instructions. The spiral ribs and large bottom opening let your grind size and pouring technique influence how the coffee drains.

How do I start brewing?

Fit and rinse a size 02 paper filter in the dripper, then discard the rinse water before preparing your hot or iced setup. Continue pouring slowly and evenly until you reach the target water amount, then let the brew finish draining. Use care around hot water and glass.
