Size 02 or Size 03?

The 02 is the standard one, good for 1 to 4 cups, and it's what most people own. Step up to the 03 if you're regularly brewing for two people with big mugs, or for three or more. You can brew small in an 03, but a single cup in a big cone spreads the coffee bed thin and makes it easier to pour unevenly, so if you mostly brew solo the 02 is the better tool. Note that the 03 takes size 03 filters, not 02s.

What the cone shape is doing

A V60 is a 60-degree cone with spiral ridges up the inside. The steep angle stacks the coffee bed deep in the middle, so water passing through travels a long way through coffee. The ridges hold the paper off the glass, which lets air escape and keeps the filter from sealing itself against the wall and choking the flow.

The upshot is that a V60 gives you range rather than a fixed result. Pour fast and you get a lighter, more delicate cup. Pour slow and you extract harder for more body. That's a feature if you enjoy the control, and a nuisance on a bad morning, which is the honest trade with this dripper.

Why glass

Glass doesn't hold flavor and doesn't react, and you can watch the brew colour change as it drains, which is genuinely useful feedback when you're learning. It also holds heat less well than ceramic, so rinse it with hot water before you brew. Two seconds of work, noticeably better cup.
