This medium roast is sourced from top farms and small producers in Guatemala's Antigua region — specifically Ciudad Vieja and the surrounding volcanic valley. The soil here is mineral-rich and nutrient-dense from volcanic sediment, which is part of what makes Antigua one of the most reliable single-origin growing regions in Central America. Milling and drying are tightly controlled, producing consistent quality harvest after harvest.
The cup reflects the terroir: dark chocolate and caramel in the body, mild nuttiness, and a clean, balanced finish. A medium roast that doesn't demand anything specific from your brewer — drip, pour-over, and French press all work well.
