58mm Magnetic Dosing Ring for Eureka Mignon MMG Setups

Good coffee does not need to come with a counter full of stray grounds. This 58mm magnetic dosing ring adds a raised edge around your portafilter basket to help keep the coffee where it belongs while you grind or transfer your dose. Designed for Eureka Mignon MMG grinding setups, it is made from lightweight aluminum alloy and comes in Black or Silver.

It is a small change to the routine: seat the ring, add your coffee, and spend less time chasing grounds around the rim. The magnetic attachment helps keep it steady while you work.

What does a dosing ring do?

A dosing ring sits on the portafilter basket rim and acts as a barrier around the opening. Grounds can pile above the edge of the basket during dosing, especially before you distribute them. The extra height helps contain that pile rather than letting it spill onto your counter.

It does not measure the dose or change your grinder's accuracy. Use a scale when you want to know exactly how much coffee is going into the shot.

The details that matter

• 58mm size: Designed for a 58mm portafilter setup used with the Eureka Mignon MMG grinder.
• Magnetic attachment: Helps hold the ring in place on a compatible basket rim.
• Aluminum alloy construction: Lightweight for everyday dosing and transfer.
• Raised dosing edge: Helps reduce scattered grounds and wasted coffee.
• Color options: Black or Silver.

Will it work with my setup?

Check both sides of the fit: your portafilter basket and the space beneath your grinder's chute. This is a 58mm dosing accessory intended for Eureka Mignon MMG setups, not a universal fit guarantee for every Mignon grinder or every 58mm basket. The ring needs to sit securely on the rim and clear your grinder's portafilter support.

How to use it

Seat the ring on the basket rim and check that it is stable. Position the portafilter beneath the grinder chute, or transfer ground coffee into the basket through the ring. If you use a WDT needle tool to break up clumps, the raised edge can help contain the grounds as you gently stir.

Remove the ring before tamping and locking the portafilter into your espresso machine. Keep your dose and preparation consistent while adjusting the grind, so you can tell what is actually changing the shot.

Keeping it clean

Brush away loose coffee after use and wipe the ring clean as needed. Keep the basket rim and magnetic contact area free of grounds so the ring can seat properly. Dry it before your next dose.

If your espresso prep is working but the mess is getting old, this is a practical way to tidy up one step without complicating the whole routine.
