East Fourteenth is one of the coffees that helped define Red Bay Coffee from the beginning. A bold, grounded dark roast sourced from the southern highlands of Tanzania — where high elevation, rich volcanic soil, and careful harvesting produce fruit-forward coffees with real depth and sweetness.

In the cup: blackberry and dark chocolate up front, finishing with the syrupy warmth of dried date. Drinks beautifully black. Holds its own under milk. Pulls a serious espresso shot.

The Story Behind It

East Fourteenth is named after East 14th Street in Oakland — a corridor that runs through the heart of the community Red Bay was built to serve. The beans come from Sweet Unity Farms, a producer group founded by David Robinson to give smallholder Tanzanian farmers more equitable access to specialty markets. Better prices, more transparency, long-term sustainability. The coffee is better because of it.
