What double-wall actually does

Two layers of glass with air between them. The air is a poor conductor, so heat stays in your drink instead of moving into the glass and then your hand. In practice that means the coffee stays hot noticeably longer and the outside stays cool enough to hold without a sleeve. It's the same principle as a vacuum flask, just see-through.

Is 120ml the right size?

It's deliberately small. A double shot lands around 60ml, so this leaves room for a cortado's splash of milk or a macchiato's dollop of foam without drowning either. If you want a flat white or a latte, look at 200ml or larger instead, because this will overflow.

Care

Hand wash is safest. Double-wall glass is thinner than it looks and the sealed air gap doesn't love thermal shock, so avoid going straight from the freezer to hot water or vice versa.
