If you’re new to CHEMEX, the filter matters as much as the glass brewer. These natural paper filters are made for a clean cup with less sediment, and they arrive pre-folded, so there’s no guesswork before your first pour.
What you need to know
- 100 natural, pre-folded square bonded paper filters per pack
- Thicker paper helps catch fine grounds and coffee oils for a clear, smooth cup
- Fits most CHEMEX coffeemakers, including 6-, 8-, and 10-cup models; does not fit 3-cup CHEMEX brewers or the Funnex
- Made in the USA; biodegradable and compostable paper
Open a filter into a cone, place it in your CHEMEX with the three-layer side toward the spout, add ground coffee, and pour. When you’re done, lift out the filter and grounds together. Simple cleanup, and the coffee stays the main event.
Check your brewer: These are the larger square filters (FSU-100), not the smaller half-moon filters needed for the 3-cup CHEMEX.
