Want to bring your coffee routine along without packing half the kitchen? The AeroPress Go travel coffee maker is a compact manual brewer that packs into its own mug. The included lid keeps the set together, so your brewer and accessories have a place in your bag instead of floating around loose.
It’s a practical option for travel, camping, or making coffee at work. You bring the ground coffee and water; the set provides the brewer, mug, paper filters, scoop, and stirrer. The brewer doesn’t need electricity, but you’ll need a separate way to heat water for hot coffee.
How does the AeroPress Go work?
Ground coffee steeps in water inside the chamber. You then press the plunger gently to push the brewed coffee through a paper filter into the mug. The filter helps keep grounds out of your cup, while your grind size, coffee dose, water temperature, and steep time let you adjust the flavor.
Who is it for?
Choose the Go if you want a small coffee setup that packs together for a hotel room, campsite, office, or everyday travel. It makes sense when portability matters more than brewing a large batch for several people.
How much coffee does it make?
The included mug holds 15 oz (444 ml). That is the mug’s capacity, not the brewing chamber’s capacity. The listed yield of 1–3 cups depends on the recipe, serving size, and whether you dilute a concentrate. Don’t read that as three full-size mugs from one press.
Can it make espresso or cold brew?
The AeroPress Go supports American-style coffee, espresso-style concentrate, and cold-brew recipes. Espresso-style concentrate can be mixed with water or milk, but it is not the same as espresso made by a high-pressure espresso machine. Brewing time and water temperature depend on the recipe; cold brew is not made by simply adding hot water.
What’s included?
- AeroPress Go brewing chamber and plunger
- Filter holder
- 100 paper micro-filters
- Coffee scoop and stirrer
- Travel mug with lid that doubles as the packing case
How do I brew with it?
Place a paper filter in the filter cap and attach it to the chamber. Set the brewer upright and securely on the mug, add ground coffee and water according to your recipe, then stir and steep. Insert the plunger and press gently. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and take care when handling hot water.
