If you're new to it: the AeroPress brews with a patented 3-in-1 method that combines the immersion of a French press, the clarity of a pour-over, and the richness of espresso, all in one compact design. You add coffee and water, give it a short steep, then press with gentle air pressure through a paper micro-filter. The short steep keeps bitterness out, the filter keeps grit out of your cup, and the whole thing takes about a minute. It's hard to make a bad cup with one, which is why it's such a good first manual brewer and why so many coffee people never travel without it.
